1. What are your working hours? Our hours are 7:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Our sales rep Mark is available to take you through our showroom 7:30am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday. We have a wide range of exhaust system, intercoolers, oil to air separators, turbos and accessories on display. 2. The fitment and design of TaipanXP Exhaust Systems. Our exhaust systems follow the same route as the original system and are made to suit standard, unmodified vehicles. If your standard exhaust system had to be adjusted to suit your aftermarket product, our TaipanXP exhaust system won’t fit. When we design our systems we like to get in vehicles with as many aftermarket modifications as possible, if you look on our makes and models page and our catalogue we have listed what products are allowed for in our TaipanXP Exhaust design.

3. Noise Change:

• Most of the Turbo Diesels come out standard with 21/4” system, by upgrading to 3” you will get a slight increase in noise of around 5db due to the increase in pipe size.
• We design these systems for people that tow, so we run our systems standard, with quiet muffler combinations.
• If you would like a more noticeable note please contact us before ordering a system to get the ins and outs of whether this can be done for your vehicle.

4. Where can you freight to?

We sell our exhaust systems to customers all around Australia (except WA please contact our state distributor Avon 4WD on 08 9621 1100).

5. What is the warranty on TaipanXP Exhaust Systems?

Aluminised Mild Steel Systems come with 2 year warranty on pipe work and 3 years on vortex muffler. 

Mild Steel system warranty becomes voided if exposed to salt, chemicals or inclement weather conditions. 

Stainless Steel Systems come with 10 year warranty. 

Voided warranty also applies to systems that are improperly fitted or modified, or in any form of motor sport.


6. I would like to fit the system myself, how easy are they to fit and do they come with fitting instructions?

• Each vehicle is different regarding fitment, we always recommend that they are fitted by mechanically minded customers and that the night before fitment they soak the dump pipe in WD40.
• We recommend going to a TaipanXP Reseller to fit the following:
• D40 DPF Navara & Pathfinder
• 1-kzte Hilux & Prado
• The fitting instructions are very comprehensive, with vehicle specific information and pictures (please use all rubbers, hangers and heat shields provided) and all parts are labelled.

7. How much notice should I give to make an in-house booking?

Please give us as much notice as possible, at least 2 weeks notice, even up to 3 weeks during busy periods.

8. How do I place an order?

• For Individual Purchases:
• Please either email us with all your information and what vehicle you have and we will get in contact.
• Or call us direct and we can organise it over the phone.
• For Trade customers:
• No phone orders will be taken, all orders need to be sent in on a TaipanXP Purchase order and either fax or email accounts@taipanxp.com.au back to us.

9. How long until I receive my system from time of ordering?

We try and dispatch our systems as soon as the order is placed, however this isn’t always possible due to busy periods.
Our turnaround time for aluminised mild steel systems is 5 working days and for 304 Stainless Steel systems the turnaround time is 7 working days.

10. What method of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, EFTPOS (no AMEX or Diners Clubs) and direct deposit.
