TaipanXP 4WD Performance Products – Warranty

There is no need for you to fill in any complicated warranty forms in order to register, as you are automatically covered from day one, but you need keep a copy of your invoice, warranty is not valid without proof of purchase, it is also nontransferable.

TaipanXP warrants our products against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty claims will NOT be allowed if our product is incorrectly fitted eg not fitting new mounting brackets, new rubbers and dump pipe brackets that are supplied in the fitting kit, fitted to the incorrect model vehicle, abused, modified or damaged in any way eg accident, collision, undercarriage impact or willful/negligent act. Aluminised Mild Steel systems are not covered under warranty if it has been subject to salt or salt water.

Warranty Claims Process:

If a warranty issue arises we ask that you do the following:

  • Email through clear photos of the issue at hand – sending through good quality images of the issue can save a lot of time!
  • Send us through a copy of your original invoice & your best contact number to esha@taipanxp.com.au
  • In some cases the faulty part(s) need be returned to the TaipanXP Distributor from whom the unit was purchased or to TaipanXP head office. TaipanXP reserves the right to inspect all units that warranty has been claimed.
  • Once warranty has been proven we will then repair or replace defective part. Please note warranty does not include freight, fitting & any other costs incurred.

Warranty Periods:

Aluminised Mild Steel System – 3 years

304 Stainless Steel System – 10 years

Billet Catch Can – 10 years

Intercoolers – 2 years

This warranty is given in addition to consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law and does not exclude them.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
