TaipanXP Vortex Exhaust Systems

Our TaipanXP mandrel bent exhaust systems for the Turbo Diesel Vehicles have always cime with dump pipes these are either Ceramic Coated or Stainless Steel.

Our mild steel exhaust systems are now aluminised mild steel & our stainless steel systems are grade 304.

All our TaipanXP Exhaust Systems run with the Generation 2 vortex muffler. However for CERTAIN vehicles we can supply a system with a sportz note.

Custom made Systems also available.

Unfortunately we don’t have a TaipanXP system available for every model vehicle. However we can do custom TaipanXP Mandrel Bent exhaust system in-house on the Gold Coast.

suit most new Turbo Diesel and Petrol Vehicles with over 60 different systems available in
kit form.

How do I get more power from my vehicle?
Over the last 5 years we have been telling people at Shows, over the phone, through emails and all over our website: THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF GETTING AN EXHAUST IS THE TUNING, depending on the vehicle you may need a chip or they can go through the pump.

How do TaipanXP know what the best settings for performance are, for my vehicle?
Simple, from the start we have always followed the process as below, we don’t simply slap a system on the vehicle and send you on your way.

When developing a new product our process is as below:
Whilst the vehicle is stock standard with road test the vehicle with pyro, boost gauge and datalogger fitted.

We road test the vehicles for several hours also testing it on Panorama – a big hill out the back of the Gold Coast.

Then we put the vehicle on the dyno to check standard power and torque (depending on the vehicle it is either at the rear wheels or at all four wheels), we also recheck standard boost and pyro temps.

Over the next 3 – 5 working days we custom make products to suit that vehicle whether this be Exhaust System/ Intercoolers/ Setting up custom mapping for chips, also upgrading air filters and snorkels and any other products the will benefit the performance and economy of your vehicle.

During this period of time we will re-dyno and road test your vehicle to see which combination of products best suit the vehicle we are upgrading.

Once we are happy with the products chosen we do a final hill test, then dyno run rechecking power & torque, and pyro temps and boost level.
